This dashboard renders live on the real Google Maps JavaScript API, so it needs a browser-restricted key with the Maps JavaScript API enabled (Geocoding API optional). Your key is only kept in this browser tab — it isn't sent anywhere else or saved.

Don't have a key yet? Get one free at console.cloud.google.com/google/maps-apis — enable "Maps JavaScript API", create a key, and paste it above.

Tip: set the APIKey column in the dbo.AppSettings table (see Database/Setup.sql) and this screen is skipped automatically next time you run the app.
